The first and most important recipient of my gratitude is Master Bren. For many years She has been my Master, Wife, Daddy, Lover, and Soul mate. She has taken my mind and body through the sensations and ecstasy that my characters enjoy/hate/love and submit to. Every Top that I write about has a tiny bit of Master Bren’s energy or attitude. For all that She is and all that She does, I am forever grateful.

I wish to express my gratitude to Pat (now Patrick) Califia for all that She wrote, and all that He is still writing. Years ago the book Macho Sluts gave me hope and validated my very existence. Years ago at the Michigan Women’s Music Festival a young Carrie Gray of Aslan Leather was surprised and delighted to find a group of women eagerly waiting for Her workshop called “Expressing your desire”. In that workshop She presented a concept that changed my life. She said, “…If you have trouble saying what you want, write it down…” By the end of the year my muse had poured out 10 of these stories onto paper and my writing career, and my ability to speak my desire had been born. At Michigan a few years later I was privileged to attend a couple of writing workshops put on by Tristan Taormino. I learned much about this art from Tristan, and most importantly I was encouraged by Her to “put my work out there.” You can find her at “Pucker up” in my links list.

When I had a large number of stories I sent out query letters for my book Makin’ a Scene and I got many favorable comments but a most wonderfully encouraging and educational comments came from Cecilia Tan of Circlet Press. Thanks, I am very grateful for your encouragement.

I have had tons of encouragement, proofreading and feedback from my childhood friend, Mistress Damianna. Not only has she helped me with the technical aspects of my writing, but she has also allowed me to peek into the world of a Professional Dominatrix during our many hours of tea, story sharing and chatter.

My efforts and struggles always seem worthwhile when friends like jayd; Daddi Bren’s 2 bois; Rosy and Subhash (who built this site); and everyone who has taken an interest in my work; tell me that they have enjoyed a particular piece.
